Design Process

  1. Starting Point

    Starting Point

The starting point for any Garden Design is a discussion about your ideas and formulate a brief from which a quotation is prepared. Each project is unique with differing parameters so the process will vary according to client requirements. Advice is given for projects of all sizes, formal or informal.

  2. Survery & Planning

    Survery & Planning

A site and levels survey is conducted together
with photographs help to form the basis for
the design. Concept proposals can then be
    created ready for presentation, discussion
    and further development.

Once a concept plan has been developed
an agreed scheme is prepared as a
    Masterplan, which provides sufficient
    detail for tendering purposes and
    construction.

  3. Construction & Planting

    Construction & Planting

During the construction phase a series of site visits are made at key stages to inspect the implementation. Planting schemes are prepared to enhance the design based on the client brief and site location.

A planting service includes plant sourcing and selection, setting out and planting plants.
A schedule lists of plant names and quantities is used for ordering and costing.
Easy to understand plant care plans can be provided Gardens are always
changing, and from time to time it may need additional planting.

  4. Aftercare

    Aftercare
As seasons change, different plants will
come to the fore. Some plants or structures
    may require annual or seasonal
    manitenance to look their best
    and remain healthy.

    Seasonal visits are encouraged to
    maintain the development of the
garden and can be discussed as
    part of your garden implementation.
